INTRODUCTION ABOUT ZYRTEC DROPSZYRTEC DROPS contains Cetirizine which belongs to the group of medicines called Anti-allergic medicines. It is used in infants and in children (aged 2 years and above) to manage symptoms associated with allergic rhinitis (such as nasal congestion, itchy nose, repeated sneezing and red, watery and/or itchy eyes) and urticaria (allergic skin condition causing reddish raised patches on the skin with severe itching). Before taking ZYRTEC DROPS, inform your doctor if your child has any liver problems, kidney problems, epilepsy or difficulty in passing urine. It is strictly not recommended for use in children with severe kidney impairment. ZYRTEC DROPS may cause excessive drowsiness and tiredness. ZYRTEC DROPS is an anti-allergic medicine. It reduces allergic reactions by blocking the release of certain chemicals (histamines) in the body that triggers the allergic response. As a result, it provides relief from the symptoms of allergic rhinitis and urticaria.
Directions for Use
ZYRTEC DROPS can be taken with or without meals. Shake the medicine well before use. Measure the required quantity of the medicine in a measuring cup and administer it to your child orally. Your doctor will decide the correct dose and duration of therapy for your child depending upon their age, body weight and disease condition.
