INTRODUCTION ABOUT ZOCON T KITZOCON T KIT is a combination of Fluconazole and Tinidazole which belongs to the group of medicines called Antifungal and Antiprotozoal agents respectively. It is used to manage vaginal infections caused by fungus. Avoid alcohol consumption while taking this medicine because it may cause abdominal cramps, nausea, vomiting, headache, flushing and tachycardia. How It Works
ZOCON T KIT helps to manage vaginal infections, where Fluconazole works by inhibiting the formation of ergosterol which is essential for fungal cell wall synthesis, leading to death of fungal cells and Tinidazole works by damaging the DNA. Together, reduces the infection.
Directions for Use
Take this medicine as advised by your physician. Swallow this medicine as whole with a glass of water and do not crush or chew the medicine. Your doctor will decide the right dose depends on your age, body weight and disease condition.
Side Effects
this medicine are nausea, vomiting, headache, stomach discomfort, indigestion, diarrhoea, constipation, anorexia, change in taste, rashes, dizziness, weakness etc. Contact your doctor if any of the side effects worsen. SIDE EFFECTS OF ZOCON T KITCOMMON nausea, vomiting headache stomach discomfort indigestion diarrhoea constipation anorexia change in taste abnormal liver function tests rash dizziness weakness, fatigue or malaise UNCOMMON pale skin, weakness or shortness of breath due to decrease in red blood cells inability to sleep, feeling drowsy fits dry mouth muscle pain fever, tiredness, feeling unwell RARE decreased white blood cells and platelets reddish or purple skin discoloration low blood potassium levels elevated cholesterol levels shaking abnormal electrocardiogram (ECG), change in heart rate or rhythm hair loss Stop taking the medicine and contact your doctor immediately if you experience any of the following side effects: skin rash, widespread blistering rash and skin peeling or red itchy spots on the skin, swelling of the face, eyelids, lips, tongue or throat causing sudden wheeziness, difficulty breathing or chest tightness and sores around the mouth, eyes, nose or genitals DRESS (Drug Rash with Eosinophilia and Systemic symptoms) symptoms may include fever, swollen glands, widespread rash, increase in a type of white blood cell (eosinophilia) and inflammation of internal organs like liver, lungs, heart, kidneys and large intestine tiredness, loss of appetite, vomiting, yellowish discolouration of skin or whites of eye (jaundice) or liver failure signs of adrenal problems such as tiredness, muscle weakness, loss of appetite, weight loss, and abdominal pain abnormal vaginal bleeding or discharge vaginal or vulval sores, ulcers and blisters lower abdominal pain, burning on passing urine

BREASTFEEDINGZOCON T KIT is generally not recommended for use in breastfeeding women as it may pass through the breast milk. Consult your doctor before taking it. DRIVING AND USING MACHINESDo not drive or operate any machines if you have dizziness, fits (convulsions), after taking [GBNEYWORD]. ALCOHOLAvoid alcohol consumption while taking this medicine because it may cause abdominal cramps, nausea, vomiting, headache. KIDNEYZOCON T KIT should be used caution in patients with kidney disease. Contact your doctor before taking. LIVERZOCON T KIT should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Contact your doctor before taking. ALLERGYDo not take ZOCON T KIT if you are allergic to Fluconazole, Tinidazole or other medicines used to manage yeast or fungal infections, or to lactose or some sugars or to other ingredients of this medicine. LUNGSZOCON T KIT should be used with caution in patients with lung diseases like pneumonia. Contact your doctor before taking. HEART DISEASEZOCON T KIT should be used caution in patients with heart rhythm disorders, heart failure. Contact your doctor before taking. OTHERSBefore taking ZOCON T KIT, inform your doctor if you have: abnormal levels of potassium, calcium and magnesium in blood sexually transmitted disease fungal infection cryptococcal meningitis bone marrow transplantation urinary tract infections and peritonitis systemic Candida infections (Ex. candidemia, disseminated candidiasis) esophageal or oropharyngeal candidiasis AIDS cancer diabetes history of blood dyscrasias seizures peripheral neuropathy vertigo low immunity Use in pediatrics: ZOCON T KIT is not recommended for use in children. Contact your doctor before taking. Use in geriatrics: ZOCON T KIT should be used with caution in elderly patients (aged 65 years above). Contact your doctor before taking.
