Do not use ZOAMET PAEDIATRIC NASAL DROPS for more than 10 days in your child without consulting your doctor. ZOAMET PAEDIATRIC NASAL DROPS opens and clears the nasal passages. It works by narrowing down the blood vessels supplying the nasal passage. This helps swollen blood vessels of the nasal tract to return to its normal size which allows the air to pass through the nostrils more freely. Drug-Drug interactions: Before using ZOAMET PAEDIATRIC NASAL DROPS, inform your doctor if your child is taking any of the following medicines: antidepressants (used to manage depression) such as monoamine oxidase inhibitors (Ex. moclobemide, isocarboxazid, phenelzine and tranylcypromine), tricyclic antidepressants (Ex. amitriptyline, nortriptyline), lithium, fluoxetine, sertraline, citalopram, escitalopram etc medicines used to control blood pressure such as alpha blockers (Ex. prazosin, terazocin) or beta blockers (Ex. propranolol, atenolol) timolol, betaxolol (used to manage glaucoma in the eye) Overdosage: If your child accidentally swallowed the medicine or applied too much of ZOAMET PAEDIATRIC NASAL DROPS, consult your doctor immediately.
