Uses

a rash with itchy, scaly patches that most commonly occur on the knees, elbows, trunk and scalp. Contact dermatitis is a skin condition that occurs due to direct contact with a substance or an allergic reaction to it and is generally characterised by symptoms such as bumps, blisters, dry skin and an itchy rash. ZINCODERM G CREAM is not recommended for use in patients allergic to clobetasol propionate, gentamicin or zinc sulfate. It is also not recommended for use in patients with skin problems such as acne, rosacea (severe flushing of the skin on and around your nose), perioral dermatitis (a spotty red rash around your mouth), itching around the anus and genitals, infected or itchy skin and widespread plaque psoriasis. Before applying ZINCODERM G CREAM, inform your doctor if you have had previous bone symptoms (such as bone pain), a previous allergic reaction with another steroid, broken or damaged skin, a chronic leg ulcer and/or psoriasis. ZINCODERM G CREAM helps to manage bacterial skin infections and reduce swelling, irritation & redness of the skin, where clobetasol propionate manages inflammation by blocking the production of certain chemical messengers (prostaglandins) that make the skin red, swollen & itchy, gentamicin causes bacterial cell destruction by inhibiting bacterial protein synthesis and zinc sulphate helps shielding the skin from bacterial invasion and locking in hydration and moisture by forming a barrier on the applied skin site.

Directions for Use

Always apply ZINCODERM G CREAM, as directed by your physician. It is for external use only. On the affected area, apply a thin layer of this medicine. Managed areas on the face need not be covered with a plaster or bandage. Do not apply ZINCODERM G CREAM on your face beyond 5 days. Avoid applying ZINCODERM G CREAM around your eyes, including eyelids.

Side Effects
