Xymex-MPS Tablet consists of digestive enzymes which helps in aiding digestion and relieving symptoms of indigestion such as gas, heartburn and bloating. It contains fungal diastase, papain and simethicone as active ingredients to enhance digestion of food. Papain is a protein-digesting enzyme that breaks down protein into smaller fragments such as amino acids and peptides whereas fungal diastase aids in the digestion of starch and carbohydrates into sugars and polysaccharides. Simethicone brings the small gas bubbles in the gut together to form bigger bubbles and hence allowing trapped air to pass through the body. Always take Xymex-MPS Tablet as advised by your doctor. Swallow the medicine as a whole with a glass of water and do not crush or chew the medicine. Do not exceed the recommended daily dosage.
