It contains papain, pepsin, sodium citrate, citric acid monohydrate, ginger oil and cinnamon oil as the key ingredients. Pepsin and pepsin are digestive enzymes. They help in digesting the proteins taken through diet and improves appetite. Ginger oil and cinnamon oil are carminatives in nature. They work by expelling the accumulated gas within the gut region, thereby reducing bloating and stomach distention. Ginger oil is also believed to manage vomiting, loose stools and stomach cramps. Sodium citrate and citric acid monohydrate works by neutralizing the stomach acid, thereby managing acid reflux and irritation of gastric lining.
