USES OF XTANE 25MG TABLETIt is used for: advanced breast cancer in post-menopausal women whose disease has progressed following Tamoxifen therapy hormone-dependent advanced breast cancer in postmenopausal women when management with different hormonal drug management has not worked well enough HOW XTANE 25MG TABLET WORKSXTANE 25MG TABLET belongs to aromatase inhibitor which blocks the enzyme aromatase (found in the body's muscle, skin, breast and fat), which is used to convert androgens (hormones produced by the adrenal glands) into estrogen. In the absence of estrogen, tumors dependent on this hormone for growth will shrink. It works by reducing the amount of oestrogen made in the body. DIRECTIONS FOR USETake XTANE 25MG TABLET as advised by your physician. Swallow the medicine with a glass of water. Do not crush or chew the medicine. Your doctor will decide the correct duration for you depending upon your age, body weight, and disease condition.
