INTRODUCTION ABOUT VOMIKIND SYRUPVOMIKIND SYRUP contains Ondansetron which belongs to a group of medicines called Anti-emetics. VOMIKIND SYRUP is used to manage nausea and vomiting in children caused by cancer chemotherapy, radiation therapy, and surgery. Before giving VOMIKIND SYRUP, to your child, inform your doctor if your child have or had severe constipation, heart problems, liver, kidney problems, imbalance with the levels of salts in your blood, (potassium, sodium, and magnesium), or have been scheduled for any surgery. Drug-Drug Interactions: Before using VOMIKIND SYRUP, inform your doctor if your child is taking any of the following medicine: medicines used to manage fits/epilepsy (ex. phenytoin, carbamazepine) medicines used to manage lung infections (ex. rifampicin) tramadol (used to manage severe pain) medicines used to manage heart problems such as abnormal heart beats (anti-arrhythmic ex. amiodarone) cancer medicines (ex. doxorubicin, daunorubicin and monoclonal, trastuzumab) medicines used to manage infections (erythromycin, ketoconazole) Overdosage: If your child accidentally takes too much of VOMIKIND SYRUP, consult your doctor immediately or visit the nearby hospital.
