Introduction
INTRODUCTION ABOUT VOMIKIND FAST STRIPVOMIKIND FAST STRIP contains Ondansetron, which belongs to a group of medicines called Anti-emetics. It is used to manage nausea and vomiting induced by chemotherapy or radiotherapy. VOMIKIND FAST STRIP is also used after surgeries (operation) to manage nausea and vomiting. Before taking VOMIKIND FAST STRIP, inform your doctor if you have severe constipation, heart or liver problems, imbalance with the levels of salts in the blood, such as potassium, sodium and magnesium or if you have been scheduled for any surgery. VOMIKIND FAST STRIP is not recommended for use during pregnancy. This medicine may pass through the breast milk hence it is not recommended during breastfeeding. Consult your doctor before taking this medicine. The dose of VOMIKIND FAST STRIP will depends on the age, body weight and disease condition of your child. VOMIKIND FAST STRIP is a serotonin 5-HT3 receptor antagonist (specific chemical receptor) which works by blocking serotonin receptors in CTZ chemoreceptor trigger zone (zone in the brain that is responsible for causing nausea and vomiting).
Directions for Use
Always use VOMIKIND FAST STRIP as advised by your physician. Do not handle the medicine with wet hands. Put it in your mouth and do not swallow it. Your doctor will decide the correct dose and duration for you depending upon your age, body weight and disease condition.
