VILANO 40 TABLET includes suicidal thoughts. Contact your doctor immediately if you experience any such thoughts. VILANO 40 TABLET should be used with caution in pregnant, breast-feeding women and elders above 65 years of age. VILANO 40 TABLET is not recommended in children and adolescents below 18 years of age. Consult with your doctor before taking VILANO 40 TABLET. The most common symptoms of VILANO 40 TABLET are trouble sleeping, nausea, vomiting and diarrhoea. Check with your doctor if the symptoms get worse. USES OF VILANO 40 TABLET manages major depressive disorder HOW VILANO 40 TABLET WORKSVILANO 40 TABLET works by inhibiting the reuptake of a brain chemical called serotonin, thus, increasing the level of serotonin which helps in regulating the mood. Thus, helps in the symptomatic relief of depressive disorder. DIRECTIONS FOR USETake VILANO 40 TABLET as advised by your doctor. VILANO 40 TABLET should be swallowed along with a glass of water. Do not crush or chew the medicine. Your doctor will decide the proper dose and duration for you depending upon your age, body weight and disease condition. SIDE EFFECTS OF VILANO 40 TABLETCOMMON diarrhoea nausea or vomiting trouble sleeping UNCOMMON mania/hypomania: elevated or irritated mood, decreased need for sleep, racing thoughts signs of seizures such as loss of consciousness along with uncontrollable shaking RARE glaucoma (increased pressure in the eyes, eye pain and blurred vision) signs of low sodium level in blood such as tiredness, weakness, confusion, combined with achy, stiff or uncoordinated muscles Stop taking VILANO 40 TABLET and consult with your doctor, if you experience any of the following: serotonin syndrome: a reaction which may cause feelings of agitation, confusion, fast heartbeat, dizziness, flushing, tremors, stiff muscles or muscle twitching, seizures, seeing or hearing things that are not real (hallucinations), coma. blood pressure changes, sweating, high body temperature, loss of coordination, nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea signs of low platelets such as bruising or unusual bleeding from the skin or other areas signs of mania/hypomania such as greatly increased energy, racing thoughts, unusually grand ideas, severe trouble sleeping, talking more or faster than usual, reckless behaviour, excessive happiness or irritability discontinuation syndrome due to sudden stopping taking the medicine (nausea, changes in your mood, irritability and agitation, dizziness, electric shock sensation (paresthesia), anxiety, confusion, sweating, headache, tiredness, problems sleeping, hypomania, ringing in your ears, seizures) seizures
