USES OF VENTOCORE DL TABLET Manage breathlessness and wheezing caused due to an obstruction in the lungs (chronic obstructive pulmonary disease) Manage breathlessness and chest pain occurring due to the narrowing of the tubes called bronchi (bronchial asthma) Manage inflammation of bronchi (bronchitis) Manage the inflammation of the nasal passages characterized by sneezing, runny or itchy nose, itchy palate and eyes, in adults and adolescents of 12 years of age and older due to allergy (Allergic Rhinitis) ( Ex. Hay fever or allergy to dust mites) Relieve the dry, itchy skin associated with Hives/ Urticaria Prevent exercise-related breathlessness due to the narrowing of airways HOW VENTOCORE DL TABLET WORKSVENTOCORE DL TABLET contains acebrophylline, desloratadine, and montelukast. Acebrophylline is a bronchodilator that helps in relaxing the muscles of the bronchi, thus widening the lumen (bronchodilator) and regulating mucous production and clearance, thus resulting in relief from inflammation (anti-inflammatory property), which provides relief from breathing difficulties. Desloratadine is a tricyclic antihistamine that helps to control various allergic reactions and also does not make you feel sleepy or drowsy. Montelukast blocks the action of various allergy-producing chemicals in the body (leukotrienes), which provides relief and improves the symptoms of asthma and/or hay fever and/or seasonal allergies like wheezing and breathing difficulty by managing the narrowing and swelling of lung airways. Thus, together, these medicines present in VENTOCORE DL TABLET help in improving breathing difficulties associated with various causes. DIRECTIONS FOR USETake VENTOCORE DL TABLET as advised by your physician. Swallow the medicine with a glass of water. Do not crush or chew the medicine. It is recommended to take medicine thirty to sixty minutes before or after food. Your doctor will determine the correct dose and duration for you depending on your age, body weight, and disease condition.
