INTRODUCTIONVENTAB DXT 25MG contains Desvenlafaxine which belongs to the group of medicines called Antidepressants. It is used in adults to manage the major depressive disorder. Therefore, continue to take VENTAB DXT 25MG for the stipulated duration recommended by your doctor even if you feel better during the midway of the therapy. Before taking VENTAB DXT 25MG, inform your doctor if you have high-fat levels in your blood or any liver, kidney or heart problems. You must also inform your doctor if you have or have a family history of bipolar disorder, mania or epilepsy. Do not take VENTAB DXT 25MG if you are pregnant or breastfeeding without consulting your doctor. Talk to your doctor if you are currently taking other antidepressant medicines (such as monoamine oxidase inhibitors (Ex. isocarboxazid, phenelzine and tranylcypromine)) while taking VENTAB DXT 25MG. VENTAB DXT 25MG is a potent antidepressant drug. It contains a medicine called desvenlafaxine which is a selective serotonin and norepinephrine reuptake inhibitor (SSNRI). It acts by increasing the levels of certain chemicals (serotonin and norepinephrine) within the brain that elevates your mood and stabilizes mental health. As a result, it makes you feel active and energetic.
Directions for Use
Take VENTAB DXT 25MG as advised by your physician. Swallow the medicine with a glass of water. Do not crush or chew the medicine. VENTAB DXT 25MG can be taken with or without food. Your doctor will decide the correct dose and duration of therapy for you depending upon your age, body weight and disease condition.
