INTRODUCTION ABOUT UROFIT SYRUPUrofit Oral Solution is a nutritional supplement used in the management of kidney stones and renal tubular acidosis. It contains potassium citrate, magnesium citrate and vitamin B6 as active ingredients. Potassium citrate is a urinary alkaliser and helps to make urine less acidic and manages the formation of kidney stones. Magnesium citrate inhibits the stone formation. Pyridoxine decreases substance that cause kidney stones (oxalate) in urine thus manages formation of kidney stones. Always take Urofit Oral Solution exactly as advised by your doctor. Shake well before use. Dilute three teaspoonfuls (15ml) of Urofit Oral Solution with one glass of water and drink after meals or at bed time or as directed by the physician. It is not recommended for use if you have severe kidney disease with oliguria or azotemia, unmanageed addison’s disease, adynamia episodica hereditaria, acute dehydration, heat cramps, anuria, severe myocardial damage and increased potassium levels.
