Introduction
URIVOXATE 200 TABLET contains Flavoxate which belongs to the group of medicines called Urinary Antispasmodics. It is used to manage muscle spasms of the urinary tract. It can also be used to relieve the unpleasant urinary symptoms (such as excessive or painful urination or urinary incontinence) associated with any surgical or diagnostic procedures (such as cystoscopy or catheterisation). Take URIVOXATE 200 TABLET preferably after meals or as directed by the physician. Prior to the management, your doctor may want you to take several blood tests to understand your existing condition. Before taking URIVOXATE 200 TABLET, inform your doctor if you have any stomach or kidney problems. You must also inform your doctor if you have any bleeding in the digestive tract, glaucoma or myasthenia gravis (severe muscle weakness) as a precaution. URIVOXATE 200 TABLET is not recommended for use in patients with urinary retention (unable to empty the bladder completely). It is also not suitable for use in children aged below 12 years. How It Works
URIVOXATE 200 TABLET is an antispasmodic medication. It relaxes the muscles surrounding the bladder. This helps in reducing bladder contraction in patients with bladder inflammation which, therefore reduces pain and spasms associated with it. It also helps the bladder to hold a more volume of urine and controls urine flow which helps in reducing unpleasant urinary symptoms.
Directions for Use
Take URIVOXATE 200 TABLET preferably after meals or as advised by your physician. Swallow the medicine with a glass of water. Do not crush or chew the medicine. Your doctor will decide the correct dose and duration of therapy for you depending upon your age, body weight and disease condition. Do not stop taking URIVOXATE 200 TABLET without consulting your doctor.

ALLERGYDo not take URIVOXATE 200 TABLET if you are allergic to Flavoxate.
