INTRODUCTION ABOUT TRUCOF SYRUPTRUCOF SYRUP is a combination of Bromhexine, Guaiphenesin, Terbutaline, and Menthol which belongs to the group of medicines called Mucolytics, Expectorants, Bronchodilators, and Soothing agents respectively. It is used to manage cough associated with bronchitis, asthma, emphysema, smoker’s cough, whooping cough, smokers dry cough and post-surgical cough. A cough is a reflex action to clear your airways of mucus and irritants like dust or smoke. TRUCOF SYRUP relieves cough where Bromhexine reduces the viscosity of thick mucus secretions, helping in ejecting out the phlegm. Guaiphenesin thins and loosens the mucus in the lungs, making it easier to cough it up where Terbutaline relieves the congestion of the airways, and menthol gives a cooling sensation.
