Introduction
INTRODUCTIONTROPAN 5MG contains Oxybutynin which belongs to two groups of medicines called anticholinergics and antispasmodics. It works by relaxing the muscles of bladder and stops sudden muscle contractions (spasms). This helps control the release of water (urine). It is used to manage frequent and severe urinary urgency or loss of control in passing urine (urge incontinence). Always take this medicine as directed by physician. Your doctor will decide the dose and duration of therapy depending upon your age, weight and condition. Swallow the medicine with a glass of water. It is not recommended for the use in children and adolescents below 5 years of age, consult your doctor before giving this medicine. Do not take TROPAN 5MG if you have increased pressure in the eye (glaucoma). It is not recommended for the use in pregnant or breastfeeding women. Consult your doctor before taking this medicine.
