TRIHEXY 2MG TABLET can also be used to control abnormal involuntary muscle movements (such as extreme restlessness or muscle spasms) in the body that is caused due to the use of certain medicines. Trihexyphenidyl is a muscle relaxant. It reduces muscle stiffness and relaxes muscles by reducing the activity of a chemical messenger called acetylcholine in the brain. TRIHEXY 2MG TABLET is an anticholinergic medicine with muscle relaxing properties. It reduces muscle stiffness and improves muscle control by reducing the activity of a chemical messenger called acetylcholine in the brain. It also regulates the release of a brain chemical called dopamine that regulates proper body movements and coordination. As a result, it reduces abnormal muscle movements associated with Parkinson’s disease and with the use of certain medicines.
Directions for Use
Take TRIHEXY 2MG TABLET as advised by your physician. Swallow TRIHEXY 2MG TABLET with a glass of water. Do not chew or crush the medicine. It must be taken with or just before meals. Your doctor will decide the correct dose and duration of therapy for you depending upon your age, body weight and disease condition.
