Introduction

TRADEP 5/2MG TABLET is a combination of Trifluoperazine and Benzhexol which belongs to the group of medicines called Phenothiazine antipsychotics and Antimuscarinics respectively. TRADEP 5/2MG TABLET is used to manage symptoms and manage relapse in schizophrenia (disorder that affects a person's ability to think, feel and behave clearly) and in other psychoses, especially paranoid type which is also used as an adjunct in the short-term management of severe psychomotor agitation and of dangerously impulsive behavior such as mental sub-normality. It is also used for the symptomatic control of all forms of Parkinsonism (disorder of the central nervous system that affects movement) including the postencephalitic arteriosclerotic and idiopathic types which favorably influences rigidity and akinesia in the majority of patients with reduction of salivation. Avoid taking TRADEP 5/2MG TABLET, if you suffer from any blood disorders, planned for a special x-ray examination of the brain or spinal cord involving a chemical called metrizamide, have closed angle or a narrow angle glaucoma or paralytic ileus, severe liver disease or heart failure. Before taking TRADEP 5/2MG TABLET, inform your doctor if you have diabetes, blood vessel disease such as varicose veins, fits, abnormal muscle weakness, stomach ulcer, severe heartburn or kidney disease. TRADEP 5/2MG TABLET is not recommended for use during pregnancy and breast-feeding unless it is clearly advised by the doctor. TRADEP 5/2MG TABLET is not recommended for use in children and it should be used with extreme caution in elderly patients. The most common
