It contains lactitol as an active ingredient which helps to make the stool softer and easier to pass. Lactitol is broken down in bowel into products that pull water out from body and into the bowel to soften stool and make it easier to pass. It also reduces the absorption of ammonia and increases fecal excretion of nitrogen. Always take Totalax NF Syrup as advised by your doctor. Shake well before use.
