How It Works

TORCAINE SUGAR FREE MINT FLAVOUR GEL is a combination of Aluminium hydroxide, Magnesium hydroxide, and Oxetacaine. Aluminium hydroxide acts on the hydrochloric acid in the stomach by neutralizing it, forming Aluminium chloride salt and water. Magnesium hydroxide increases peristaltic activity, causing osmotic retention of fluids, thus resulting in bowel evacuation. It also reduces stomach acid by reacting with hydrochloric acid to form magnesium chloride. Oxetacaine is a topical anaesthetic that effectively relieves pain when applied to the mouth and food pipelining. The antacids neutralize stomach acid and reduce further irritation of the food pipe. Antacid also thickens the liquid to help carry the oxetacaine and coat the food pipe.
