Introduction
INTRODUCTION ABOUT TOBASTAR EYE DROPSTOBASTAR EYE DROPS contains Tobramycin which belongs to the group of antibiotics known as Antibiotics. It is used to manage bacterial infections of the external part of the eye, such as conjunctivitis and ear canal infections. Bacterial conjunctivitis is the infection of the transparent membrane (conjunctiva) that lines the eyelid and covers the white part of your eyeball. Symptoms of bacterial conjunctivitis include pain, discomfort, redness, itching, irritation, and watering of the eyes. Ear canal infection is the bacterial infection of external ear, which is characterised by ear pain, redness and swelling around the ear canal, discharge of fluid or pus from ear. Do not wear contact lens if you have any ocular infection while using TOBASTAR EYE DROPS. Remove the contact lenses before using TOBASTAR EYE DROPS and can put them back after 15 minutes of use. TOBASTAR EYE DROPS should be used with caution in patients who have ever had neuromuscular disorders, such as myasthenia gravis or Parkinson’s disease. TOBASTAR EYE DROPS should be used with caution in pregnant and breastfeeding woman. Consult your doctor before using the medicine. Directions for Use
Always use TOBASTAR EYE DROPS exactly as directed by your physician. It is for external use only. Instill the medicine into the affected eye or ear 1 to 2 times a day or as directed by the physician. Your doctor will prescribe the right dose depends on your age, body weight and disease condition.
Side Effects

Consult your doctor for advice. Use in geriatrics: There is no information regarding the use of TOBASTAR EYE DROPS in elderly patients. Drug Interactions
SA. Drug-Drug interactions: penicillin’s, cephalosporins (medicines used to manage infections of the eye, ear, or the skin) gentamicin, amikacin (medicines used to manage bacterial infections) Overdosage: If you or anyone else accidentally use too much of TOBASTAR EYE DROPS, consult your doctor immediately or visit the nearby hospital. If accidentally occurs, wash your eyes or ear and rinse it all out with warm water.
