Introduction

TIPANAT 20 TABLET is used to manage adults with colon cancer or rectal cancer (colorectal cancer). It is used when the cancer has spread to other parts of the body. It is also used when other treatments have not worked or when other treatments are not suitable. TIPANAT 20 TABLET is a combination of Tipiracil and Trifluridine which belongs to the group of medicines known as Antineoplastic Agent which interferes with DNA in cancer cells to stop them from making new cancer cells. Tipiracil stops trifluridine from being broken down by enzymes before it can act. Before taking TIPANAT 20 TABLET, inform your doctor if you have or had radiation treatment for your cancer, intolerance to galactose or the Lapp lactase deficiency or glucose-galactose malabsorption. How It Works

TIPANAT 20 TABLET is a combination of Trifluridine and Tipiracil. Trifluridine interferes with DNA in cancer cells to work against them from making new cancer cells. Tipiracil stops trifluridine from being broken down by enzymes before it can act.

Directions for Use

Take TIPANAT 20 TABLET as advised by your physician. Swallow the medicine with a glass of water. Do not crush or chew the medicine. Your doctor will decide the correct dose and duration for you depending on your age, body weight, and disease condition.

TIPANAT 20 TABLET are weakness, feeling tired, decreased appetite, abdominal pain, indigestion and common cold. Consult your doctor if any of the above side effects persists for a longer duration.
