TENOHEP AF TABLET works by inhibiting an enzyme (viral polymerase), causing chain termination, which in turn, inhibits DNA synthesis and viral replication, thereby managing the virus to produce new viruses and stops the infection from spreading.

Directions for Use

Take TENOHEP AF TABLET as advised by your physician. Swallow the medicine with a glass of water. Your doctor will decide the right dose and duration depending upon your age, body weight and disease condition. Do not stop taking TENOHEP AF TABLET unless your doctor advices to stop.

Drug-Drug interactions: Before taking TENOHEP AF TABLET, inform your doctor if you are taking any of the following medicines: other medicines used to manage hepatitis B infection (Ex. tenofovir alafenamide, tenofovir disoproxil, adefovir dipivoxil) ritonavir or cobicistat boosted darunavir, lopinavir, atazanavir (used to manage HIV infection) medicines used to manage bacterial infections including tuberculosis (Ex. rifabutin, rifampicin, rifapentine) medicines used to manage fits (Ex. carbamazepine, oxcarbazepine, phenobarbital or phenytoin) St. John’s wort (herbal medicine for depression and anxiety) medicines used to manage fungal infections (Ex. ketoconazole or itraconazole) Overdose: If you or anyone else accidentally take too much of TENOHEP AF TABLET, consult your doctor immediately or visit the nearby hospital due to increased risk of side effects.
