INTRODUCTION ABOUT TARRY SHINE LOTIONTarry Shine Lotion is a keratolytic and antifungal preparation for topical application, used to manage itching and flaking caused by dandruff, seborrheic dermatitis and psoriasis of the scalp. It contains coal tar and ketoconazole as an active ingredient which removes the dead skin cells and kills the fungus. Coal tar is a keratoplastic agent, which removes dead skin cells and slows down the growth of the outer layer of skin cells on the scalp. Thus, relieves itching and removes dry, scaly particles. Ketoconazole is an antifungal agent, which works by managing the growth of fungi causing the infection. Always use Tarry Shine Lotion as directed by a physician. It is for external use only.
