INTRODUCTION ABOUT TANDGEL EYE OINTMENTTANDGEL EYE OINTMENT is used in the management of corneal lesions (on the surface of eye), supportive and post-operative management of all types of keratitis (inflammation of the cornea) such as keratitis dendritica, burns and scalds, and dystrophic corneal lesions (eye diseases involving changes in outermost layer of the eye). TANDGEL EYE OINTMENT is also used in the management of corneal damage in contact lens wearers. TANDGEL EYE OINTMENT contains D-Panthenol which belongs to the group of medicines called Vitamin B Complex. D Panthenol coverts itself into pantothenic acid (Vitamin B5) which is used in the synthesis of a substance called coenzyme A, which is an important component in maintaining the epithelium. TANDGEL EYE OINTMENT increases fibroblast proliferation which plays an important role in repairing processes and accelerated wound healing. Also, it acts as a moisturizer, protectant, and has anti-inflammatory properties. If you wear contact lenses, it should be removed before using TANDGEL EYE OINTMENT. Directions for Use
Use TANDGEL EYE OINTMENT as advised by your doctor. It is for ophthalmic use only. Tilt your head backwards and squeeze the tube gently and apply the gel into the lower eyelid.
