INTRODUCTION ABOUT SURFAZ DUSTING POWDERSurfaz Dusting Powder is an Anti-fungal powder used for the management of various fungal skin infections such as ringworm, athlete’s foot (fungal foot infection), Jock’s itch and fungal sweat rash (prickly heat). Surfaz Dusting Powder is particularly indicated to manage reinfection in patients who sweat excessively, diabetic patients, or those patients who live in hot and humid conditions. Surfaz Dusting Powder is indicated as an adjunct to other anti-fungal managements such as creams and sprays to manage reinfection. It contains Clotrimazole as an active ingredient which is effective in killing and inhibiting infection-causing fungus. Clotrimazole acts as an anti-fungal agent by stopping the synthesis of ergosterol which is a key component of the fungal cell membrane. By doing so clotrimazole stops the further growth of fungal cells. Always use Surfaz Dusting Powder as advised by the doctor. It is for external use only. Apply this Surfaz Dusting Powder over the affected area as directed by your doctor or 2 times a day. Before applying it to your feet wash and dry your feet thoroughly, especially between your toes.
