Suppol Drops (paracetamol drops)is with palatable orange flavour ensures higher compliance. It is used in children upto 2 years of age to provide fast relief from fever and pain. It contains paracetamol as an active ingredient that reduces fever and pain. Paracetamol relieves pain by increasing the pain threshold by inhibiting certain enzymes (COX-1 and COX-2) involved in synthesis of chemicals responsible for inducing pain (prostaglandins). It reduces fever by directly acting on heat-regulating centers in the brain, resulting in vessel relaxation, sweating and loss of body heat. Always give Suppol Delicious Orange Flavour Drops to your child as advised by the doctor. Shake well before use.10-15 mg/kg body weight every 4-6 hours.
