Introduction

INTRODUCTION ABOUT SRFIL ENEMASRFIL ENEMA contains Sucralfate, which belongs to the group of medicines called Antiulcer agents. It is used to manage hemorrhagic radiation proctitis (inflammation of the rectum due to radiotherapy in the lower part of the abdomen), solitary rectal ulcer syndrome (ulcers in the rectum) and diversion colitis. Diversion colitis is an inflammation of the colon which can occur as a complication of ileostomy or colostomy. Before the management, your doctor may recommend you take relevant tests to understand your condition. SRFIL ENEMA is not recommended for use in patients who have end-stage renal disease, and uncontrolled diabetes mellitus with hyperglycemia (high blood sugar). How It Works

SRFIL ENEMA works by forming a protective layer over the bowel wall and protects the fragile blood vessels from breaking. It increases growth factor production, promoting tissue growth and regeneration, thereby facilitating repair.

SA. Drug-Drug interactions: Before using SRFIL ENEMA, inform your doctor if you are taking any of the following medicine: naproxen (to relieve pain) potassium phosphate (manages low levels of phosphorus) levoketoconazole (to manage high cortisol levels) deferasirox (to manage iron overload in the body) baloxavir (manages influenza) digoxin (manages heart failure) levothyroxine (manages low thyroid hormone) furosemide (to reduce swelling caused by too much water in the body) quinolones (Ex. ofloxacin, ciprofloxacin) manage the bacterial infection warfarin (prevents blood clots) antiretrovirals like raltegravir (manages HIV/AIDS) bisphosphonates (Ex. ibandronate, risedronate) to manage bone loss multivitamins antacids (Ex. magnesium hydroxide, calcium carbonate) Overdosage: If you or anyone else accidentally use too much of this medicine, consult your physician immediately.
