SPAS TABLET should be used with caution in patients with severe liver and kidney disease, hypertension, coronary heart disease, congestive heart failure, cardiac tachyarrhythmia, psychosis, and delirium (such as elderly patients and/or in patients with mental illness), incomplete intestinal obstruction (the small intestine partially or totally blocked), patients with salmonella dysentery, ulcerative colitis (inflammatory bowel disease), prostatic hypertrophy (prostate gland enlargement), hyperthyroidism, alcoholism, and in patients who take painkillers often for headache, etc. SPAS TABLET should be used with caution in pregnant women, unless considered necessary. SPAS TABLET is not recommended for use by breastfeeding women. SPAS TABLET is not recommended for use by children under 10 years of age. SPAS TABLET should be used with caution by elderly patients. The most common side effects of taking SPAS TABLET are hypersensitivity reactions, dry mouth, upset stomach, vomiting, constipation, and gas or bloating. Contact your doctor if any of the symptoms get worse. USES OF SPAS TABLET Manage stomach cramps, renal and biliary colic, as well as pain from gynaecologic or surgical conditions. Manage functional bowel disease and irritable bowel syndrome (IBS). HOW SPAS TABLET WORKSSPAS TABLET contains dicyclomine, which is an antispasmodic and works by relaxing the muscles in your stomach and gut (intestine). It manages unexpected muscular contractions (spasms). It also reduces bloating, pain, cramps, and discomfort. Paracetamol is analgesic and antipyretic as well. Swallow the medicine with a glass of water. Do not crush or chew the medicine.
