INTRODUCTION ABOUT SOLVIN DECONGESTANT SUGAR FREE SYRUPSOLVIN DECONGESTANT SUGAR FREE SYRUP contains Phenylephrine Hydrochloride which belongs to the group of medicines called Nasal Decongestants. SOLVIN DECONGESTANT SUGAR FREE SYRUP is used to relieve nasal discomfort caused by colds, allergies and hay fever. It is also used to relieve nasal congestion (blocked nose) and pressure. SOLVIN DECONGESTANT SUGAR FREE SYRUP is not recommended for use in patients with heart diseases, high blood pressure, diabetes, prostate problems, overactive thyroid gland. SOLVIN DECONGESTANT SUGAR FREE SYRUP should be used with caution in patients with asthma. Contact your doctor before taking it. SOLVIN DECONGESTANT SUGAR FREE SYRUP is a nasal decongestant and works by reducing the size of the blood vessels in the nose and sinuses, thus makes it easier for you to breathe.
Directions for Use
Take SOLVIN DECONGESTANT SUGAR FREE SYRUP as advised by your physician. Shake well before each use. Your doctor will determine the correct dose and duration for you based upon your age, body weight and disease condition.

Drug-Drug interactions: Before taking SOLVIN DECONGESTANT SUGAR FREE SYRUP, inform your doctor if you are taking any of the following medicine: medicines used to manage bacterial infections (Ex. linezolid) isocarboxazid, phenelzine, selegiline, tranylcypromine, amitriptyline (medicines used to manage depression) medicine used for heart failure, angina (Ex. digoxin, glyceryl trinitrate, atenolol) lamotrigine (used to manage fits) ephedrine (used to manage nasal congestion) ergotamine (used to manage migraine) Overdosage: If you or anyone else accidentally take too much of SOLVIN DECONGESTANT SUGAR FREE SYRUP, consult your doctor immediately or visit the nearby hospital. Signs and symptoms of overdose include tachycardia (fast heartbeats), palpitations (particularly in patients with cardiac disease), dizziness, nausea, vomiting. Overdose in patients older than 60 years may result in hallucinations, CNS depression, fits.
