INTRODUCTION ABOUT SOFTVISCSOFTVISC is a combination of D Panthenol and Sodium Hyaluronate which belongs to the group of medicines called Anti-inflammatory and Eye Lubricants. It is used to manage mild to severe dry eyes, post operated dry eyes and eye burns. SOFTVISC is also used in post-Lasik (laser vision correction) and cataract eye (clouding of lens of the eye) surgery. SOFTVISC also helps to repair eye surface tissue, increases the tear breakup time post-operatively (the time taken for the first dry spot to appear on the outermost layer of the eye after a complete blink), manages the signs and symptoms of tear film insufficiency (dryness of the eye because of inadequate production of tears) and decreases post-surgery complications. SOFTVISC helps in managing various eye conditions where Sodium hyaluronate is a naturally occurring substance helps to hold on to water molecules in the tears, which helps keep the eyes moist and remains stable while blinking, thus providing lasting lubrication for the eyes.
