INTRODUCTION ABOUT SNOWDENT DENTAL CREAMSnowdent Dental Cream is a medicated toothpaste that is used to whiten the teeth. It contains calcium peroxide, calcium carbonate, sodium monofluorophosphate and xylitol as active ingredients that help in improving the appearance of teeth and protect against cavities. Calcium peroxide and calcium carbonate aid in the removal of stains from the interior and exterior layers of the teeth and thus, make them whiter in appearance. They do so by acting as bleaching agents. Also, calcium from these salts helps in remineralization of the teeth. Xylitol strengthens the enamel and manages caries. Sodium monofluorophosphate is an anti-caries agent that strengthens the tooth enamel. It manages the enamel (topmost layer of tooth) from getting demineralized (degraded) along with ensuring the remineralization (improvement in structure) of the previously degraded teeth. Snowdent Dental Cream is recommended to be used as advised by the dentist. Do not swallow it. It should be used by children only on dentist’s recommendation.
