INTRODUCTION ABOUT SILYBON SUSPENSIONSILYBON SUSPENSION contains Silymarin which belongs to the group of medicines called Flavonoids. Silymarin is a flavonoid isolated from the plant species called Silybum marianum which is commonly known as milk thistle. It is indicated for supportive management in chronic liver disease and cirrhosis. Before taking SILYBON SUSPENSION, inform your doctor if you have allergic to milk thistle or plants of the Asteraceae/Compositae family such as daisies, marigolds, or artichokes. There are no adequate and well-controlled studies of SILYBON SUSPENSION in pregnancy and lactation. Consult your doctor for advice. SILYBON SUSPENSION is not recommended in children less than 5 years of age. Consult your doctor for advice.
