Introduction
SEVISTA 30MG TABLET contains Ormeloxifene which belongs to the group of medicines called Selective estragon receptor modulators. SEVISTA 30MG TABLET is used in women of reproductive age groups to manage dysfunctional uterine bleeding which is a condition that occurs when normal cycle of menstruation gets disrupted. SEVISTA 30MG TABLET is not recommended for use in patients allergic to Ormeloxifene. It is also not recommended for use in patients suffering from tuberculosis and/or chronic cervicitis/hyperplasia (inflammation of cervix). Before taking SEVISTA 30MG TABLET, inform your doctor if you have liver problems (such as jaundice, severe hepatic dysfunction) and/or kidney problems. SEVISTA 30MG TABLET is generally not recommended for use during pregnancy since the medicine has contraceptive effects. If pregnancy occurs while in management with SEVISTA 30MG TABLET, then it should be discontinued. The medicine is advised to be used with caution in breastfeeding women as it may pass through breast milk. How It Works
SEVISTA 30MG TABLET works by causing asynchrony in the menstrual cycle between ovulation and development of uterine lining which cause uterine lining to shed more slowly resulting in reduced of loss of bleeding thus managing dysfunctional uterine bleeding in affected individuals.
Directions for Use
Take SEVISTA 30MG TABLET as advised by your physician. Swallow the medicine with a glass of water. Do not crush or chew the medicine. Your doctor will decide the correct dose and duration of the medicine for you depending upon your age, body weight and disease condition.
Side Effects

Drug – Drug Interactions: Before taking SEVISTA 30MG TABLET, inform your doctor, if you are taking any of the following medicine: ciprofloxacin, cefixime, metronidazole. tetracycline (used to manage bacterial infections) amlodipine, atenolol (used to manage blood pressure) theophylline (used to manage asthma) metformin, pioglitazone and glibenclamide (used to manage diabetes) Overdosage: If you or anyone else accidentally take too much of SEVISTA 30MG TABLET, consult your doctor immediately or visit the nearby hospital to manage overdose symptoms.
