The most common side effects of using SENSOFI EYE/EAR DROPS is eye discomfort or irritation. Consult your doctor if it troubles you. USES OF SENSOFI EYE/EAR DROPS Management of bacterial eye and ear infections HOW SENSOFI EYE/EAR DROPS WORKSSENSOFI EYE/EAR DROPS contains Ofloxacin which works by stopping bacteria from multiplying. It does this by interfering with the bacteria's ability to make and repair their DNA, which is essential for their growth and survival. By blocking the enzymes needed for this process, ofloxacin prevents the bacteria from reproducing, ultimately destroying them and clearing up the infection. DIRECTIONS FOR USEUse SENSOFI EYE/EAR DROPS as advised by your physician. It is for topical use only. For Eyes: Tilt your head slightly backwards and gently pull your lower eyelid. Instil few drops of this medicine into the eyes and close your eyes for 2 minutes. Repeat the same for the other eye if required. If you wear soft contact lenses, remove the lens before applying SENSOFI EYE/EAR DROPS and wait for at least 15 minutes before reinsertion. For Ears: Gently instil few drops of this medicine into the ears. Repeat the same for the other ear if required. Wash your hands before and after application. Do not touch the tip of the container with your eyes, eyelids, areas around your eyes, outer surface of the ears or fingers, to avoid contamination. Your doctor will decide the correct dose and duration of therapy for you depending upon your age, body weight and health condition. If there is no improvement in your condition even after using this medicine for 7 days, consult your doctor for advice. SIDE EFFECTS OF SENSOFI EYE/EAR DROPSCOMMON eye irritation or discomfort Stop using SENSOFI EYE/EAR DROPS and contact your doctor immediately if you experience any of the following side effects: severe allergic reactions (such as skin rash, itching, swelling of the face, lips, throat, tongue causing difficulty in breathing or swallowing) severe eye pain, redness, irritation and vision changes severe skin reactions causing skin rashes, with red-target spots or circular patches on the skin, blistering and peeling of skin with fever
