Introduction
SATROGYL 300MG TABLET contains Satranidazole which belongs to the group of medicines called Antiamoebics. It is used to manage amoebic liver abscess which is a type of liver infection caused by Entamoeba histolytica (parasite) in affected individuals. SATROGYL 300MG TABLET is not recommended for use in patients allergic to Satranidazole, Avoid consumption of alcohol while taking the medicine since it may cause nausea, vomiting, flushing, and/or dizziness. SATROGYL 300MG TABLET is not recommended for use in pregnant and breastfeeding women. SATROGYL 300MG TABLET works by diffusing into protozoal cell which leads to DNA helix destabilization and strand breakage thus leading to destruction of protozoal cell and managing amoebic liver abscess in affected individuals.
