INTRODUCTION ABOUT SALYTAR OINTMENTSalytar Ointment is an antiseptic ointment used to provide relief from skin itchiness, scaling and discomfort associated with skin conditions such as psoriasis, eczema, dandruff and seborrheic dermatitis. It contains Coal tar, Salicylic acid and Sulphur as active ingredients. Coal tar, salicylic acid and sulfur are keratolytic agents. They remove dry, scaly dead cells from the skin surface, leading to skin peeling followed by the formation of fresh, newer skin cells.
