(thickened layers of skin) in affected individuals. SALIWIN 12% OINTMENT is not recommended for use in patients allergic to Salicylic acid. It is also not recommended for use in patients with active inflammation/dermatitis, infection (at the application site), acute viral infection, skin malignancy, and/or tanned skin. Before applying SALIWIN 12% OINTMENT, inform your doctor if you are scheduled for surgery, and/or suffering from any kidney problems. SALIWIN 12% OINTMENT is generally not recommended for use in pregnant women. If you are a breastfeeding women, consult your doctor before using the medicine. Avoid applying the medicine on skin areas which might come in direct contact with infant’s skin. SALIWIN 12% OINTMENT should be used with caution in children and adolescents (aged 1-15 years). SALIWIN 12% OINTMENT works by penetrating the affected area of skin and causing destruction to the bacteria which also reduces oil production in the skin thus managing the occurrence of skin conditions such as acne, blemishes, dandruff, and corn, calluses in affected individuals.
Directions for Use
Apply SALIWIN 12% OINTMENT as directed by your physician. It is for external use only. Wash your hands before use and work into a lather by adding water. Apply a thin layer and massage over wet skin or affected skin area. Avoid applying this medicine around your eyes, including eyelids.
