It is also not recommended for use in patients with active inflammation/dermatitis, infection (at the application site), acute viral infection, skin malignancy, and/or tanned skin. Before applying SALICARE 12% OINTMENT, inform your doctor if you are scheduled for surgery, and/or suffering from any kidney problems. SALICARE 12% OINTMENT is generally not recommended for use in pregnant women. If you are a breastfeeding women, consult your doctor before using the medicine. SALICARE 12% OINTMENT works by penetrating the affected area of skin and causing destruction to the bacteria which also reduces oil production in the skin thus managing the occurrence of skin conditions such as acne, blemishes, dandruff, and corn, calluses in affected individuals.

Directions for Use

Apply SALICARE 12% OINTMENT as directed by your physician. It is for external use only. Wash your hands before use and work into a lather by adding water. Apply a thin layer and massage over wet skin or affected skin area. Avoid applying this medicine around your eyes, including eyelids.
