How It Works

SAFLUTAN is a prostaglandin analogue, which works by increasing the outflow of aqueous humor, thereby lowering the increased pressure in the eye.

Directions for Use

Use SAFLUTAN as advised by your doctor. It is for ophthalmic use only. Wash your hands before and after using the eye drops. Tilt your head slightly backwards and instil a few drops of the medicine into the affected eye by slowly pulling the lower eyelids to form a small pocket. Your doctor will decide the correct dose and duration for you depending upon your age, condition, and body weight.

Side Effects

SAFLUTAN are redness, stinging or itching of the eye, cataract formation, dry eye, eye pain, blurred vision, headache, common cold and cough. Consult your doctor if any of the side effect worsens.
