INTRODUCTION ABOUT ROLFIN 0.25% CREAMROLFIN 0.25% CREAM contains Amorolfine, which belongs to the group of medicines called Topical Anti-fungals. It is used in the management of fungal infections of the skin such as tinea pedis, tinea cruris, tinea corporis, and tinea manuum. It is also used for managing cutaneous candidiasis and pityriasis versicolor. A fungal infection also called mycosis is caused by a fungus. ROLFIN 0.25% CREAM works against the fungi by inhibiting the biosynthesis of ergosterol, an essential component of fungal cell membranes. Therefore, leading to alternation in fungal cell membrane permeability and disruption of key fungal metabolic processes, causing cell death.
Directions for Use
Apply ROLFIN 0.25% CREAM as directed by your physician. It is for external use only. Wash your hands with soap and water before and after using ROLFIN 0.25% CREAM. Apply a thin layer of this medicine to the affected area and rub it gently into the skin. Avoid applying this medicine to the mouth and nostrils. Your doctor will give the right dose depending on your age, body weight, and severity of the infection.
