It contains liquorice extract, aloe vera, glycerin, glycolic acid and vitamin E as active ingredients that helps for the management of skin exfoliation and hyperpigmentation. Liquorice extract has anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties. It blocks the action of tyrosinase (pigment required for melanin production) and elastase, thereby helps to manage skin hyperpigmentation and ageing symptoms such as fine lines and wrinkles. Aloe vera helps to keep the skin clear and hydrated. Glycolic acid helps to break the bonds between the outer layer of skin cells, including dead skin cells and the next skin cell layer that creates a peeling effect that can make the skin appear smoother and more even. It also helps to retain moisture instead of drying your skin out.
