RIBAXA + 150MG TABLET contains Olaparib which is an effective anticancer agent. It works by blocking the actions of an enzyme called PARP (poly ADP-ribose polymerase) within the cells, which is responsible for repairing damaged genetic material (DNA) in both normal and cancerous cells. Since cancers originated due to gene mutations (like BRCA or HER-2 negative gene mutation) contains damaged DNAs in the cells, PARP is required by the cancer cells to repair the damaged DNA and for subsequent proliferation.
