INTRODUCTION ABOUT RHINASE NASAL DROPSRHINASE NASAL DROPS contains Beclomethasone which belongs to the group of medicines called Corticosteroids. It is used to manage allergic rhinitis (seasonal or perennial). Allergic rhinitis (also known as hay fever) is an allergic response caused due to sensitivity of an individual against various allergens such as pollens, dusts, moulds, or flakes of skin from certain animals. It can occur seasonally or year-round (perennial) and often characterized by inflammation of the inner lining of the nose accompanied with nasal congestion, repeated sneezing, and red, watery, or itchy eyes. RHINASE NASAL DROPS can also be used to manage the recurrence of nasal polyps (painless growth of tissues on the linings of the nasal passage) after the surgical removal of polyps. It is suitable for use both in adults and in adolescents (aged 6 years or above). Before using RHINASE NASAL DROPS, inform your doctor if you have lung problems (such as asthma or tuberculosis) or any liver problems. How It Works

RHINASE NASAL DROPS is a steroid medication. It blocks the release of certain chemical messengers in the airways (such as histamines, prostaglandins, leukotrienes) that cause allergic reaction, inflammation and swelling. As a result, it reduces airway inflammation, reduces the onset of allergic symptoms and relieves unpleasant symptoms associated with allergic rhinitis and nasal polyps (such as repeated sneezing, nasal congestion, eye redness with itching, loss of smell and snoring).

Gently spray the medicine inside the nose or instil few drops of this medicine inside your nostrils. Your doctor will decide the correct dose, number of sprays and duration of therapy for you depending up on your age, body weight and disease condition. Avoid contact of RHINASE NASAL DROPS with your eyes, ears or mouth. If contact happens accidentally, rinse it off with water immediately. LUNGSRHINASE NASAL DROPS should be used with caution among patients who have or previously had tuberculosis or any other lung problems (such as asthma). OTHERSBefore using RHINASE NASAL DROPS, inform the doctor if you: have not been vaccinated for chickenpox or measles have thyroid problems have viral, bacterial or fungal infections (Ex. measles, chickenpox) have had steroids for long time have ever had any surgery on your nose have any infection in your nose met with any major trauma (accidents) or undergone a surgery have or had eye problems (such as glaucoma, cataracts) Use in paediatrics RHINASE NASAL DROPS can be used in children and adolescents (aged 6 years or above) if advised by the physician. It is not recommended for use in children younger than 6 years of age due to lack of safety data. Therefore, consult your doctor before using it. Use in geriatrics RHINASE NASAL DROPS should be used with caution in elderly patients (aged 65 years or above). Therefore, consult your doctor before using it.

Drug Interactions

SA. Drug - Drug interactions Before using RHINASE NASAL DROPS, inform your physician if you are taking any of the following medicines such as: medicines used to manage HIV infection (Ex. ritonavir or cobicistat) other corticosteroids (used to reduce inflammation) Ex. dexamethasone, prednisolone, or hydrocortisone medicine used to relieve fever, pain and swelling (Ex. aspirin) ketoconazole, itraconazole (medicines used to manage fungal infections) B. Drug – Food interactions: RHINASE NASAL DROPS can be used at any time of the day with or without food. Overdosage If you or anyone else accidentally used excessive amount of this medicine, contact your doctor immediately or go to the hospital straight away.
