RESPIRA D LIQUID is used to relieve cough due to throat or bronchial irritation, sneezing and running nose caused by cold, dry cough, allergic cough, post-operative cough, smokers cough, and night-time cough. It is also used to manage hay fever or upper respiratory allergies such as sneezing, runny nose, itchy, watery eyes, and itching of the nose and throat. Contact your doctor before taking.

RESPIRA D LIQUID helps to manage cough, where chlorpheniramine is an antihistamine that works by blocking the histamine H1 receptor and managing the release of histamine (which normally produces symptoms of sneezing, itching, watery eyes, and runny nose), and dextromethorphan is a cough suppressant that relieves cough by acting on the cough center in the brain. Together, they relieve coughs effectively.

The most common side effects of this medicine are sedation, somnolence, disturbance in attention, abnormal coordination, dizziness, drowsiness, headache, blurred vision, nausea, vomiting, dry mouth, abdominal discomfort, and fatigue. Contact your physician if any of the symptoms worsen.

Yes. RESPIRA D LIQUID causes sleepiness. Try to rest and relax. Get enough sleep. Avoid driving or operating any machines while you are feeling sleepy. Do not consume alcohol, as it can aggravate your sleepiness. Contact your doctor if your sleepiness does not improve.

If you forget to take a dose of RESPIRA D LIQUID, take it as soon as you remember. However, omit the missed dose if it is almost time for the next one. Do not take the medicine twice to make up for the forgotten dose.

Continue taking RESPIRA D LIQUID until your doctor tells you to stop, unless you experience any unwanted effects, a worsening of your condition, or any new symptoms. Consult your doctor immediately for advice.
