Introduction
INTRODUCTION ABOUT RELAXYL DA THERMOGELRelaxyl DA Thermogel is a topical gel used to symptomatically manage various painful conditions of muscles, tendons and joints such as spasms, sprains, and strains, myalgias, myositis/contractures, cervical spondylitis, lumbago, frozen shoulder, arthritis, and bursitis. Relaxyl DA Thermogel can also be used to manage tendonitis, and sports injuries associated with muscle spasm. It contains diclofenac, methyl salicylate, mephenesin, linseed oil, menthol and capsaicin as active ingredients that work together to relieve aches and pains. Diclofenac is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug that inhibits cyclooxygenase activity, which in turn manages the production of prostaglandins and other inflammatory mediators responsible to induce pain and inflammation. Methyl salicylate relieves musculoskeletal discomfort in the muscles, joints, and tendons by reversibly inhibiting cyclooxygenase enzyme and locally and peripherally managing the production of inflammatory mediators. Mephenesin reduces the excitability of nerve cells, decreasing action potentials to muscle fibers and thus reducing muscle stiffness. Linseed oil has anti-inflammatory effects, antioxidant properties, and improves blood circulation at the place of application. Menthol ca
