taking RABITAB TABLET are oral sores, constipation, indigestion, stomach pain, headache and dizziness. Consult your doctor if any of the side effect troubles you. You must also inform your doctor immediately if you experience severe uncontrollable diarrhea with stomach pain or tenderness after taking RABITAB TABLET. USES OF RABITAB TABLET Manage Gastro-Esophageal Reflux Disease Manage and Manages Peptic ulcers Manage Zollinger-Ellison syndrome HOW RABITAB TABLET WORKSRABITAB TABLET is a proton pump inhibitor. It reduces the amount of acid produced in the stomach by blocking the actions of an enzyme called H+ K+ ATPase (also known as proton pump) which is present in the lining of the stomach walls. As a result, it reduces the chances for acid reflux into the oesophagus, heals peptic ulcers and esophageal lesions and manages its recurrence. DIRECTIONS FOR USETake RABITAB TABLET as advised by your physician. Swallow the medicine with a glass of water. Do not crush or chew the medicine. It is preferably taken in the mornings or at any time of the day before meals. Your doctor will decide the correct dose and duration of therapy for you depending upon your age, body weight and disease condition.
