RABILITE LS CAPSULE is not recommended for use in pregnant or breastfeeding women, including children and adolescents (aged below 18 years). The most common side effects of taking RABILITE LS CAPSULE are nausea, vomiting, stomach pain, diarrhea, constipation, and headaches. Consult your doctor if any of these symptoms worsen. Rabeprazole acts by inhibiting the secretions of stomach acid by blocking the proton pump (H+ K+ ATPase) at the secretory surface of gastric parietal cells, while levosulpiride acts by blocking the dopamine D2 receptors in the CTZ (area in the medulla oblongata that causes vomiting when stimulated) and in the gut, thus facilitating the movement of food from the stomach into the intestines, followed by the healing of ulcers or inflammatory lesions in the stomach and in the esophagus. DIRECTIONS FOR USETake RABILITE LS CAPSULE on an empty stomach or as advised by your physician. Swallow RABILITE LS CAPSULE as a whole and do not crush or chew the medicine. Your doctor will decide the correct dose and duration of therapy for you depending on your age, body weight, and disease condition.
