Introduction
INTRODUCTION ABOUT R B TONE INJECTIONR B TONE INJECTION contains Iron Sucrose which belongs to the group of medicines called Iron preparations. R B TONE INJECTION is used to manage iron deficiency anaemia (blood disorder marked by low iron level in blood) in patients when iron medications become ineffective or cause illness when taken by mouth. R B TONE INJECTION is not recommended for use in patients allergic to Iron Sucrose, and/or other injectable iron preparations/medicines. It is also not recommended for use in patients suffering from anaemia (not caused by iron deficiency), and in patients with excess iron production in the body or problems associated with ineffective use of iron in the body. Before receiving R B TONE INJECTION, inform your doctor if you have systemic lupus erythematosus (autoimmune disease), rheumatoid arthritis (chronic inflammatory disorder affecting joints), eczema (skin inflammation), kidney problems (such as chronic kidney disease), and/or liver problems. R B TONE INJECTION should be used with caution in pregnant women only if it is clearly necessary. It is also advised to be used with caution in breastfeeding women. The medicine is not indicated for use in children and adolescents (aged below 18 years) and is advised to be used with caution in elderly patients (aged 65 years and above) after consulting the doctor. How It Works
R B TONE INJECTION works by replenishing iron stores in the body which helps in the synthesis of red blood cells thus managing iron deficiency in affected individuals.
Directions for Use
R B TONE INJECTION will be given to you only by a doctor or a nurse into a vein as an intravenous injection/infusion or into the venous line of dialysis machines in dialysis patient. Your doctor will decide the correct dose and duration for you depending upon your age, body weight and disease condition.
Side Effects

DRIVING AND USING MACHINESDo not drive or operate machines if you feel dizzy, confused, and/or light-headedness after receiving R B TONE INJECTION. KIDNEYR B TONE INJECTION should be used with caution in patients with kidney problems such as chronic kidney disease. Contact your doctor before receiving R B TONE INJECTION. LIVERR B TONE INJECTION should be used with caution in patients with liver problems. Consult your doctor before receiving R B TONE INJECTION. ALLERGYDo not receive R B TONE INJECTION if you are allergic to Iron Sucrose, other injectable iron preparations/medicines, and/or any other ingredients of this medicine. LUNGSR B TONE INJECTION should be used with caution in patients suffering from severe asthma. Consult your doctor before receiving R B TONE INJECTION. Drug Interactions
SA. Drug-Drug interactions: Before receiving R B TONE INJECTION, inform your doctor if you are taking any of the following medicines: medicines containing iron (Ex. ferrous sulfate) Overdosage: R B TONE INJECTION will be administered to you only by a doctor or a nurse in a hospital, and so it is unlikely to receive an overdose. However, consult your doctor or nurse if you experience any unusual symptoms.
