How It Works

R 1500 promotes the synthesis of nucleic acid and various proteins involved in the production of red blood cells. It also enhances cell repair and replication and helps in the formation of myelin sheath (a protective covering of the nerve fibers), thereby reducing pain.

Directions for Use

Always take R 1500 as directed by your physician. It can be taken with or without food. Swallow the medicine with a glass of water. Do not crush or chew the medicine. Your doctor will decide the correct dose for you depending upon your condition.

OTHERS Before taking this medicine, inform your doctor if you have Leber’s disease (optic nerve atrophy), iron or folic acid deficiency or hypokalemia (low levels of potassium in blood) Use in pediatrics: R 1500 should be used with caution in children (aged less than 18 years), Consult your doctor before taking. Use in geriatrics: R 1500 is considered safe for use in elderly patients. However, consult your doctor before taking.

Drug Interactions

SDrug-Drug Interactions: Before taking R 1500, inform your doctor if you are taking: antibiotics (used to manage infection) Ex.chloramphenicol or neomycin medicine used to reduce stomach acid (Ex.omeprazole, cimetidine, lansoprazole) colchicine (used to manage gout) oral antidiabetic medicines (Ex.metformin) oral contraceptives (birth control pills) aminosalicylic acid (used to manage tuberculosis) Overdosage: If you or anyone else accidentally took too much of R 1500, consult your doctor immediately.
